Phat Dat Real Estate Development Corp requested the lifting of transaction bans on Millennium project
Phat Dat Real Estate Development Corp (HoSE: PDR) is petitioning the HCMC People's Committee to lift the transaction ban on the land plot at 132 Ben Van Don, the site of its Millennium project. The ban was imposed in 2023 at the request of the Ministry of Public Security, linked to a criminal case involving former Vinafood II leaders accused of land management violations. Phat Dat asserts that Phu My Hung Investment Joint Stock Company, the project's investor, is a bona fide third party, holding legal land use rights and proper project permits. A preliminary court ruling by the HCMC People's Court also affirmed that the apartment sales transactions for the project are independent and lawful, unrelated to the Vinafood II case.
