Dak N'Tao Company Limited official was assaulted during forest protection duty

Dak N'Tao Company Limited confirmed that one of its Deputy Directors was severely assaulted while on forest protection duty. The incident occurred around 2:00 PM on May 24, 2025, when a company task force discovered a group of individuals clearing forest trees, suspected of encroaching on forestry land in sub-zone 1674, Quang Tien Hamlet, Quang Son Commune, Dak G'long District, Dak Nong Province. When asked to stop, the group refused to cooperate and called seven more individuals to the scene, who then assaulted the task force. As a result, a Deputy Director sustained a broken rib, head, and chest injuries, and is currently receiving treatment at Dak Nong Provincial General Hospital. Three other officials also suffered minor injuries. The Dak Nong Provincial Police have received the report and are investigating the incident.
