Steel prices plunge for the 14th time
Domestic construction steel price has been adjusted down for the 14th time in a row, to VND 13-14 million/ton because of slow consumption demand plus fierce competition from cheap Chinese steel. Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) forecasts that from now until the end of the year, steel consumption will still be low and there may be more price reductions.
