Hanwha Life Insurance Company Limited (Viet Nam) has been accused of failing to pay insurance benefits to Ms. N.T.H.M, despite a medical assessment confirming 81% work capacity loss due to thyroid cancer. A lawyer stated that the lack of transparency in the contract and the refusal to pay without clear legal grounds may violate the Law on Insurance Business and the Law on Consumer Protection. Ms. M.’s family has the right to file a lawsuit to demand that Hanwha Life fulfill its contractual obligations.
