Nhat Minh Foods Joint Stock Company was involved in producing and distributing fake cooking oil made from animal feed oil. The company created fake food declarations and sold the product to industrial kitchens and snack manufacturers. Authorities prosecuted three individuals and seized over 1,000 tons of smuggled oil. Related companies earned more than VND 8,200 billion over 3 years. One company operated for 14 years with an annual revenue of VND 4,500 billion.
