Domestic fuel prices drop further

HCMC – The ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance have announced a reduction in retail fuel prices, effective from 3 p.m. today, May 8.
Vietnam’s most widely used fuel, RON95-III, is now priced at VND19,180 per liter, down by VND410, while E5 RON92 bio-gasoline has decreased by VND380 to VND18,780 per liter.
Diesel oil has dropped by VND550 to VND16,800 per liter, while kerosene is now VND16,940 per liter, falling by VND620.
Heavy fuel oil, however, is down by a slight VND660 to VND15,530 per kilogram.
The two ministries still refrained from imposing a surcharge on any fuel type. Fuel traders are not allowed to tap into the price stabilization fund during this adjustment.
