Flashnote - 22/1/2021]: VNINDEX Edges up, local institutional investors net buy
VNINDEX increased 0.22%, closing at 1166.78, market trading value reached VND 18,994 billion, up 3.1% compared to the previous day, local institutional investors were net buyers.
However, VNINDEX had the first losing week in 2021, down 27.42 points or 2.3%.
Local institutional investors: net bought VND115 billion in which they net bought VND430 billion via matched orders.
Individual Investors: changed to net sell VND62 billion today, of which VND156 billion was net sold by matched orders. Top net-sells were NVL (164 billion), FLC (73 billion), STB (65 billion), MSN (61 billion), and MBB (60 billion).
On the net buying side, they net bought the most HPG (133 billion), VNM (92 billion), DIG (62 billion), CTG (61 billion), and VND (46 billion).
Proprietary traders: Including the put-through transaction, they net sold VND 33 billion in which they net bought VND190 billion via matched orders. Top sells were FUESSVFL (91 billion), DIG (62 billion), NVL (57 billion), E1VFVN30 (55 billion), and FUEVFVND (38 billion). On the net buying side, there were STB (56 billion), MBB (49 billion), VPB (37 billion), CTG (35 billion) and VCB (30 billion). All their top 5 net bought stocks were banking stocks. Other banks also net bought today were HDB, TCB, EIB, TPB, BID.
Foreign investors: net sold VND54 billion of which VND274 billion were net sold via matched orders. They sold the most HPG (133 billion), VNM (107 billion), CTG (93 billion), VND (48 billion), and VRE (43 billion). Top net buys of foreign investors included NVL (179 billion), FUESSVFL (91 billion), E1VFVN30 (56 billion), MSN (48 billion), and FUEVFVND (37 billion).
