Bkav Anti Virus Software Joint Stock Company unable to pay over VND 174 billion bond debt
Bkav Anti Virus Software Joint Stock Company (Bkav Pro) announced that it was unable to pay the principal amount of VND 163.2 billion and interest of VND 8.9 billion for its BKPCB2124001 bond, which matured on May 26. The company stated it is currently negotiating with bondholders. This bond was issued in May 2021 for a total of VND 170 billion and was extended for an additional year in May 2024, moving its maturity date to May 26, 2025, with an 11% annual interest rate. This payment deferral occurred despite Bkav Pro reporting a post-tax profit of VND 40.8 billion in 2024, a 2.4-fold increase compared to 2023.
