Huy Truong Phat Packaging Printing Company Limited was accused of masterminding a large-scale counterfeit textbook production and distribution network in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. From January to June 15, 2024, the company illegally printed over 1.6 million fake textbooks worth more than VND 51.1 billion, along with hundreds of thousands of unfinished printed materials. Despite lacking legitimate contracts with publishers, the company coordinated illegal printing, processing, and market distribution, severely impacting the education system and consumer trust.
