Thanh Thien Travel Company Limited's former director was arrested for fraud after eight years on the run. From 2016 to 2017, she lured victims into investing in tourism services, signing contracts for tour packages and accommodations. Instead of fulfilling agreements, she misappropriated nearly VND 2 billion to repay personal debts before fleeing. She was captured while working at a hotel in Da Nang in early 2025. Authorities have prosecuted her for fraud and are seeking additional victims or witnesses.
