APG Securities Joint Stock Company was fined a total of more than VND 1.49 billion by the State Securities Commission for violating many regulations in the securities sector. The violations included misuse of funds from a private placement, failure to separate client and company assets, and lending for margin trading beyond the permitted limit. In addition, APG was also fined for falsely reporting financial safety ratios and failing to keep complete records and documents related to investment activities.
