WORKSHOP "BOOSTING SME FINANCING THROUGH CREDIT SCORING"

On 5/12/2024 in Ho Chi Minh City and 12/12/2024 in Hanoi, the workshop "Boosting SME financing with credit scoring" organized by the Improving Private Sector Competitiveness in Vietnam Project (USAID IPSC) with FiinGroup technical supports, has taken place successfully with the participation of a large number of businesses and banks and financial institutions in the country.

On 5/12/2024 in Ho Chi Minh City and 12/12/2024 in Hanoi, the workshop "Boosting SME financing with credit scoring" organized by the Improving Private Sector Competitiveness in Vietnam Project (USAID IPSC) with FiinGroup technical supports, has taken place successfully with the participation of a large number of businesses and banks and financial institutions in the country.  

 
The workshop led by expert speakers from FiinGroup provided basic knowledge about credit scoring, helping businesses understand the concept, objectives and factors affecting credit scores. In addition, experts also analyze the role of credit scoring in assessing risk and supporting businesses to access capital more easily. Guest speakers from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), along with representatives from Banks and Fintech companies, also shared diverse perspectives on credit scoring and the application of data in improving access to credit for SMEs 

Participating businesses are instructed on how to assess credit capacity and reputation and build effective strategies to improve credit scores. 

The workshop is also a bridge between businesses and banks and fintech, opening potential cooperation opportunities for businesses to be more confident on the path of development. 

Through interactive Q&A sessions, business representatives were guided in detail about the loan process. After the workshop, ten enterprises that have successfully registered for the 1:1 consulting program will receive technical support from FiinGroup experts, in order to improve their ability to meet credit standards and expand opportunities to access financing.
