Megapharco Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company was investigated and raided by authorities on April 25, 2025. Authorities seized about 100 tons of counterfeit functional foods distributed nationwide. The counterfeit production and trading network operated since 2016 by establishing multiple companies to legalize activities. The seized products had poor quality, with many ingredients reaching less than 30% of the declared content. The suspects also used two accounting systems to evade taxes and caused losses to the State.
