Trung Nam Corporation's Golden Hills City project remained stalled for years due to legal issues. The project, worth VND 4.447 trillion, faced delays after the government found its land allocation and investment approval process violated regulations. Despite efforts by Da Nang authorities to resolve legal obstacles, unfinished buildings and infrastructure on the 381-hectare site deteriorated, causing land and investment waste. The company requested project adjustments, including an increased budget of VND 7.648 trillion and an extended timeline to 2029, but approval remained pending as it required the Prime Minister’s decision.
