
Traffic signals, road signs to be reviewed nationwide

HCMC – A nationwide review of traffic signals and road signs will be launched to address issues that contribute to congestion and safety concerns.
The Government Office has issued Document No. 1364/VPCP-CN conveying a directive of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha regarding the review and resolution of existing issues and shortcomings in road traffic management.
Recently, the media has reported inconsistencies in the system of guide signs, traffic signals, and the arrangement of stops, and parking, leading to traffic conflicts.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has directed the Ministry of Transport to work with the Ministry of Public Security and the local governments to address issues in the system of road signs, traffic signals, and the arrangement of stops and car parking, which cause traffic conflicts.
The results must be reported to the Prime Minister by March 15, 2025.
