On November 20, 2024, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province issued Decision No. 1456/QÐ-XPHC, imposing a fine of VND 395 million on Vietnam Yuzhan Packaging Technology Company Limited and suspending the operation of the waste generation source due to violations of environmental protection regulations. Specifically, the company committed two violations: Failure to fully implement one or more of the contents of the decision approving the environmental impact assessment report as prescribed and lack of an environmental permit as required.
