On November 1 2023, FiinRatings announced the initial issuer credit rating result for Techcombank as “A+” with “Stable” rating outlook. With this rating result, FiinRatings evaluate that:   

• Techcombank's business position is ‘Strong’, supported by its market position among the leading private commercial banks in Vietnam.
• Techcombank’s leverage figure has been much lower than the industry average.
• Techcombank’s earning profile has been better than the industry median and remained resilient even during unfavorable times.

• Techcombank’s funding profile is supported by the sticky affluent and mass affluent customer base as well as leading position in CASA market share.
• Techcombank’s liquidity position is expected to remain manageable.
