PGWM, S&P Dow Jones Indices Launch VN30 Equal Weight
Phoenix Global Wealth Management (PGWM), a member of Phoenix Capital Group, and S&P Dow Jones Indices have launched VN30 Equal Weight (VN30 EQ) which tracks the total performance of the top 30 large-cap liquid stocks on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange.
All index constituents are equal-weighted to help investors deal with liquidity, foreign ownership and state owned enterprise constraints when investing in Vietnam.
This is an index construction methodology which gives all constituents an equal weighting regardless of market capitalization.
The VN30 EQ will be biannually reviewed, in January and July.
