Ocean Commercial One Member Limited Liability Bank was compulsorily transferred to another bank after being acquired at zero cost by the State Bank of Vietnam

On October 17, 2024, the State Bank of Vietnam announced a decision to compulsorily transfer Ocean Commercial One Member Limited Liability Bank to another bank and following this compulsory transfer, this bank became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the acquiring bank. After the arrest of its former chairman before, the bank was acquired by the State Bank of Vietnam at zero cost.
