MobiFone on the way to becoming a major tech company

Digital transformation involves optimising (including automating) business processes in all operating departments, and eliminating work that does not generate value.

Digital transformation is not simply the use of digital technology in socioeconomic activities but also establishing a new advanced and modern production method, where AI, the Internet of Things, big data, and cloud computing are key production tools in many industries.

"Data is like new petrol, AI is like a new car, and people and new talents are like new drivers, entering a new era of development," Huy said.

According to Huy. MobiFone is on its own digital transformation journey, from a telecommunication provider to becoming a technology company. MobiFone's IT centre has about 500 employees, and digital technology business centres are located in almost all provinces and cities.

Mobifone's products include smart broadcasting, smart resource management solutions, MobiFone smart travel (for the government sector); smart office, smart sales, MobiFone Invoice, MobiFone eContract, MobiCS, MobiFone AI, Mobi CAC, MobiFone ECM (for business customers); and many other solutions for individual customers and households.

MobiFone has 20,000+ local business customers, including numerous small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Digital transformation solutions for SMEs include MobiFone Invoice, MobiFone eContract, MobiFone CeCA (e-contract authentication service), MobiFone CA (e-signature), MAS (accounting software), IMS (invoice management solution), mBH (e-social insurance software), 1ERP (business management solution), 1POS (sales management), Cloud Contract Center (3C), and email marketing.

Emphasising the role of digital transformation in doing business, Huy said, "In the past year, the Indian stock market doubled because the country has become a global digital technology service market. The majority of administrative services come from India, including accounting services, recruitment, AI, and call centres."

"MobiFone is also following this direction to deploy some solution sets. SMEs do not need to organise and perform some steps themselves but can use services on the cloud," he said.
