Seoul Metal Vietnam Joint Stock Company was fined VND 180 million for violating fire prevention regulations
On August 1, 2024, Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee announced Seoul Metal Vietnam Joint Stock Company was fined VND 180 million for many violations in fire preventation regulations. The company did not arrange for a responsible person to work with the competent authority upon receiving a notice of fire safety inspection and rescue, put the project into use and operation without a certificate or design approval document. The company did not purchase compulsory fire and explosion insurance for the factory, did not develop a fire fighting and rescue plan, and did not fully equip the fire prevention and fighting team as prescribed.
