Tourism businesses have to sell ships and get usury because it is difficult to find support
According to the Vide Chairman of Quang Ninh Tourisim Association - Mr Dao Manh Luong, after nearly 2 years of suffering the cruelty of the epidemic, more than 500 ships stopped working and 3,000 workers lost their jobs. The remaining workers are mainly in charge of maintaining, repairing, and controlling the ships when it is stormy. Mr Luong also had to spend at least nearly VND 200 million to take care of eight ships. From March 2020 to now, his company has to spend VND 4 billion to survive. In Quang Ninh Tourisim Association, many ship owners had to sell entire ships and got usury because of the lack of certificate of tax finalization report. Even with support, the level of support is still not enough to help businesses.
